Kevin Gates Returns In Style w/ New EP & Cole Bennett-Directed “Change Lanes”

It feels so good to be getting a formal release from Kevin Gates again and this is one hell of a way to do it. With the help of the rap Tarantino Cole Bennett, Gates lets loose a visual for “Change Lanes” and it is damn near tear jerking. Opening up about how things are different now, dealing with introversion, and how he is coping with it all, Kevin puts forth a vibrant and positive rendition that has us excited for what he’s gearing up for next. The visual is expertly stitched together and does a nice job of allowing Gates to remain the focal point of the video without too much intense editing, all the while still having that signature Cole Bennett flavor. Be sure to check out this gem and give Gates’ first release since coming home a spin. It’s called Chained to the City, a three song EP that includes the track featured in the visual, and it is pure gas.
