Holy fuck, I’m serious when I say this: the last 5 years have been the golden age of hip-hop. If you’re from a music background, or just like to make new tunes, 2016 allows you to be the artist you desire in any fashion. This is the reason why I made HSDSOS.
If you’re not hip yet, our daily segment, HSDSOS, is an online segment to help highlight new or recently discovered artists, or interesting obscurities that we find on the Internet daily.
The point is to help highlight artists that seem lowkey, but in reality, are just a seed waiting to grow within themselves. This weeks installment features artists such as Ra’Shaun, a new Internet band The Lonely Players Club, DC favorites BUKKWEAT BILL and TAPPER — plus a few others that you probably are sleepin’ on.
