A$AP Rocky broke the news over the weekend in an interview with Nessa that his debut album, Long.Live.A$AP, was unfortunately pushed back due to sample clearance problems. After his fans voiced their disappointment, this somewhat fueled Yams to announced that Rocky will be dropping a new mixtape to hold us over until the new year.

As a fan, does this make up for the promised album that we’ve all been waiting for?  The album was intended to be released in August, was then pushed back to Halloween and now pushed back til next year.  And let’s not forget the lackluster tape, Lord$ Never Worry, that we were treated to in August.  Yes, the tape had some nice bangers but the overall project was definitely a let down.  But don’t get mad, this is just my opinion.  I know a bunch of people who loved the tape along with Ferg’s hilarious rap flows and verses, so technically they are doing something right.

Either way, these delays can’t be a good thing for all his fans, even the die hard ones that changed their Twitter names to A$VP _____.  Time will tell whether the album will be worth the wait and anticipation and if the new mixtape is up to par with Live.Love.A$AP, which I’m sure we are all expecting it to be.
