Hailing out of the Baltimore area, Don Neil has been making feel-good slaps for a minute now. With a multitude of singles and just two albums under his belt, Don has proven his sound through his honest storytelling and his skillful melody ranges.
He started off the year strong in his new album Break II, followed by Break which dropped in 2017. Break II is filled with a number of different vibes, each showcasing Don’s rapping and singing skill set. “D PRYDE (FREESTYLE)” especially sticks out to me as it really captures Don’s storytelling capabilities as he explains his difficult journey trying to succeed in music.
