UPDATE: Unfortunately, Bobby’s legal team could not free the New York rapper. According to TMZ, his bail arrangement was changed, forcing his legal team to try a different angle. Bobby has another court date next month. But seriously, this looks way too sketch. Fuck NYPD.

Since their arrest about a year ago, Bobby Shmurda, Rowdy Rebel and and the GS9 crew have been patiently waiting behind bars. With rumors swirling left and right about there bail situation, it looks like Bobby is nearing the release from Rikers Island.
According to TMZ, with properties used as a collateral from his aunt, Bobby’s legal team has prepped a 200-page proposal for a possible release. Prior to this fall, Shmurda plead not guilty to murder and drug charges, instead of taking the original plea deal of 8-years in jail.
Bobby and Rowdy are currently facing up to 20 years in prison after declining the plea deal. We’ll keep you up to date if more information unfolds. Enjoy.
