Gio Dee was shown to me by my bro Azarie a few years back and after taking some time off Gio shows no signs of slowing down. These 10 new cuts, showcase Gio floating with his melodies and bring us to the edge of our seats.

“Flee Talk” is dedicated to his fallen friend, Corey. This one is a confident bop that celebrates Gio, and proves he’s one of the cornerstones of Bean Town’s music scene. “Colors” was the lead single off of this project and it has the power to turn into a heavy mainstream track. Though it doesn’t compromise his identity, this track is a great elevator pitch for those who aren’t to this guy. “Rip to KOD” continues the electricity and is the strip club anthem on this project.

Cuts like “Tookie” and “Automatic” featuring IAMSU, shows off the West coast influence that has helped shape Dee’s sound. Being able to switch lanes and prove that your not one-track-minded will not only expand your fan base, but it will extend your shelf life. Overall, Gio Dee has thoroughly impressed me with his confidence and sundry of sounds. The next 12 months will be vital to this growth as an artist, but something tells us he’s going to be just fine.
