Kelela releases an enticing video for “Blue Light,” the latest visual from her new album, Take Me Apart. The sensual video comes at us a month after her debut album dropped. Take Me Apart received very positive reviews, and rightfully so. The album is an experimental R&B masterpiece, with some of the best production we’ve seen this year. The visual for one of the lead singles of the album, “Blue Light,” features Kelela in her usual seductive fashion, dancing in front of the blue light. As the video progresses, her hair begins to undress her and constrict her. The video was directed by Helmi of Division Paris, who you might recognize from his work with artists such as Kali Uchis and Majid Jordan.
