After releasing his highly acclaimed To Pimp A Butterfly on March 15th, Kendrick Lamar sold over 318,000 copies in its first week, despite a botched release by the label and a shortage of physical copies. Even with all the negative setbacks, Kendrick is still selling well-over 50,000 copies per week — pushing himself over the 500,000 mark, making it a certified gold album.
