Lil Gnar and Chief Keef both spazzed in this new track “Almighty Gnar”. With Lil Gnar recently signing to Chief Keef I think we can expect more collabs like this which puts the biggest smile on my face. Growing up listening to Keef and later then being put onto Gnar I honestly never thought I would hear these two on a track together but it’s waaaaaay better than I expected.
Letting Chief Keef start the song, the energy is immediately set. Always having some of the most clever bars in music along with a sound and delivery that’s completely unique to himself you gotta love it. Then the beat changes up and Lil Gnar shows us what he’s got. Coming in completely different than Sosa, this song gives me Kendrick and Keem “family ties” vibes but better…… For real though Lil Gnar did his thing on this track. Showing us that he can keep up with Sosa on a track he’s proven himself.
To accompany the song is a perfectly constructed video by Sam McGrath. With limited Sosa footage it really allows Lil Gnar to shine and show his talents. Doing what Sam does best we get such creative shots that are so smooth and effortless matched with eye catching effects that match the Almighty Gnar theme. This has me feeling like I’m listening to Chief Keef in 2012, go listen now.
