A lack of a tempting levels of fronting not actually attempted, and in-spite of being an above-casual fan of Dark Time Sunshine, awareness and familiarity with Onry Ozzborn until this moment has not been my reality. Above is a visual shared more as an introduction to the thoughtful and raw creativity associated with that name, but digging deeper reveals the star-studded accompanying album Duo released on the Connecticut label Fake Four. The feature list associated with the project reads like a who’s who of a keen listener’s playlists, with the likes of Aesop Rock, Homeboy Sandman, Dem Atlas, Eligh, Asphate, Rob Sonic, Kimya Dawson and many more finding a home on the track list. Almost every guest on the album also finds a role in the dope music video directed by Timslew of Soundlapse. This might be Onry’s debut on our pages, but I can promise you this is just the beginning of seeing that name published around here.
