DWY has made me a fan with his latest release 8-Bit Memories, and the standout track “Summers Over”. The whole project is filled with sincere lyrics and beautifully structured songs. Balancing between contemporary R&B and Indie; making for a sonically pleasant experience. On this particular track, he bounces from personal iota to iota. Making for an engaging and relatable anthem about our fleeting youth.
My favorite aspect of “Summers Over” is the dubbing and harmonies he laces through the song. These little nuances show his care for detail and that he meticulously works to craft lush soundscapes. DWY has a bright future ahead of himself, and I’m all in!
