Breakfast foods will always reign supreme in my mind and stomach. There are few places that truly satiate my hunger for fatty, greasy breakfast foods than the good old Waffle House. I had some Bob Evans earlier but that doesn’t ever line up with the pure quality of WH. I have never had a negative experience at that restaurant and every employee has been an absolute gem to deal with. This has nothing to do with the music below, but I just wanted to let you know how I’m feeling and what I’m hungry for. Be well.
NxG – Visuals
NxG is one of those real artists to watch in the upcoming months. Not only he, but his team moves with a solid pace, constantly looking for the next place to push their wave. On “Visuals” these frames only further what I said above, great, catchy music with no frills. His tonality is so unique, it causes people to stick around and delve deeper into his catalog. With production from Yung Talent, Kelewya, and OthelloBeats, we hear plenty of lucid instrumentation and layering to allow NxG to shine. Don’t get left behind and peep this gas above.
I came across Dree Rivers on Tiktok a few months back and he returns the radar with Heartthrob Capsule II. With an ode called “Swang” and his rendition of the Texas classic “Drank In My Cup”, we hear Rivers float throughout the auditory atmosphere. His voice is gentle, but stays in the pocket, only accenting the mood of the tracks overall. Dree can croon with the best of them and it’s only a matter of time before the world catches up.
3vd – Euphoria
3vd makes his first appearance on our pages with “Euphoria.” He did an incredibly smart thing and linked with rising visionary Zenen Saneshige for the direction of this video. Emotions bleed through the screen with vivid depictions of passion. 3vd makes himself known in this world by utilizing a modern approach to music, but he puts his real self in the light. This one is stellar, to say the least, get hip.
Exus – From Me, To You
Exus introduced himself to the Chiefers community with this one called From Me, To You. Obviously, we love when artists leave it all on the line and showcase who they really are through their art. Exus does just this with this fourteen-song opus. “Dancing In The Rain” entranced me from the moment the whistful keys hit our ears. “Live More” is wondrously beautiful as well, but there truly isn’t a cut that lags behind the rest. Exus shows and proves with this one, so get all the way hip.
Jordan Occasionally – If You Want My Love
This is Jordan’s first time on Chiefers, but it’s seeming like it won’t be the last. With this energetic offering remixed by Jaye Locke, we are placed in a groove unlike any other. Jordan‘s exquisite tone dances with the production forcing the movement of our spines and bodies alike. There is no limit to great music, and Jordan shouldn’t see a ceiling above here either. The sky is the limit and until the next wave, introduce yourself to something special above.
