Back in 2021, I began hearing about Wamspinthabin from his tracks with his close friend Wizdawizard right before Kodak signed both rappers to his Sniper Gang imprint. My first impression of the two was that they had some of the stupidest fucking names I’d ever heard.
However, after becoming acquainted with both rappers’ stories and music, I began to appreciate what they were doing. It wasn’t until Wiz‘s untimely passing and the first installment of “Paying for Killings” that I really began to buy into the hype around Wam.
“Paying for Killings”, as the title may suggest, is gruesome, brutally honest, and airs out Wam‘s feelings about his rocky relationship at the time with Kodak.
“Paying for Killings 2” keeps much of that same energy, only now he flexes a new deal worth a million dollars, according to him. Armed with a video from arguably Florida’s best shooters Counterpoint and Leeza Ashley, Wam‘s screen presence is undeniable and the sinister energy is intoxicating.
