Whiterosemoxie has been a name I’ve been following since his 2020 release White Ceilings. I enjoyed the dynamic sound he brought to that record infusing multiple genres of music in hip-hop facing lens. On “Beeline”, we get these hip-hop sensibilities but in an entertaining melodic manner. This record is about getting the girl you’ve wanted to be with for a minute; very relatable to me in my current situation.
Tom The Mail Man gives a slick feature on the record and a cameo in the music video. The video centers around Moxie and Tom being turned into 8-bit video game characters. We get some excellent cinematography in the video, and I like the hazy feel that comes across. Both of the musicians are the future of this space in hip-hop, so make sure to check it out!
