Welp, today is an amazing day for music — obviously. Seemingly out of nowhere, a new Gorillaz album has been announced officially. One of the band members, Damon Albarn, revealed that he and Jamie Hewlett will begin working on the collective’s fifth studio album, saying this about the new project:

“I’ve just been really, really busy so I haven’t had a chance. I’d love to just get back in to that routine of being at home and coming to the studio five days a week,” he says in an interview with Australian ABC.
