For PART 2 of XV’s interview with The Source (XV talks going mainstream in Part 1) the Warner Bros signee speaks on the music he’s cooking up with super-producer Just Blaze for his debut album, The Kid With The Green Backpack. XV talks about creating a conceptual project with the producer and aiming to bring back the “Classic Just Blaze” from the days Roc-A-Fella Records reigned supreme.
I have no idea what XV means by “classic” Just Blaze because Just Blaze always delivers when it comes down to his production, but I’m definitely interested in hearing this collab.
