The Hollygrove, Louisiana crew is back with a new track accompanied by visuals. The group which includes Nesby Phips, Hollygrove Mikey, Jay Jones, and Reem join the few other rappers who have made a song in light of the situation of Michael Brown and Ferguson, Missouri.

The recent shooting of Mike Brown closely mirrors the murder of their childhood friend and Hollygrove native, Keith “Magic” Atkinson. Atkinson made headlines as Lil Wayne’s friend who was unlawfully killed by NOPD the morning after they’d reunited in celebration. “Black Man”, is a powerful tribute to Michael Brown, Keith “Magic” Atkinson, and the thousands of others murdered because of the color of their skin.
