Birdman and Lil Wayne have been publicly going through a tumultuous relationship since the middle of last year. It began when Wayne apologized to fans for Tha Carter V not being released due to label issues. It was clear that Birdman was the main culprit behind Wayne’s album being shelved and it caused Hip-Hop fans to question the relationship of two of the closest and most notable figures in our culture.
Wayne went on to sue Birdman, and then Birdman sued Wayne back for trying to release the Free Weezy Album through TIDAL. Throughout the midst of all of that, Wayne’s tour bus got shot up, while on tour in Atlanta. A lot of questionable things have happened, which leads us to the photo below, posted on Mack Maine’s instagram account on New Years Eve 2015. This has raised the question of if Young Money are going through the process of reconciling their differences, beginning with Wayne & Birdman.
