After taking some time off, 2 Chainz makes a pit stop at West Coast Customs to check out a customized DeLorean worth half a million dollars, on the latest episode of GQ’s Most Expensivest Sh*t.
Thus far, this season of 2 Chainz’s Most Expensivest Shit series with GQ has found the Georgian rapper taking lavish trips to the zoo with French Montana, smoking a theoretically upscale joint in Los Angeles, and checking out some of the sneaker world’s most prized silhouettes. It’s hard to have a discussion about expensive goods though, without talking about cars. With that, 2 Chainz headed to West Coast Customs to explore the historic workshop’s fanciest, most decked-out rides. While perusing the selection – which includes a real-life Mario Kart alongside a Will.I.Am custom and Swarovski-topped vintage Mini Cooper – West Coast Customs CEO Ryan Friedlinghaus also managed to impress the rapper with a blast from the past: a custom DeLorean DMC-12. The car is distinguished in being the only model the DeLorean Motor Company has ever produced, making Friedlinghaus’ custom $500,000 iteration that much more rare.
Previously, 2 Chainz connected with Diplo to try on a pair of sunglasses worth almost 50 grand — like this needs to stop now. I feel so poor.
