The Atlanta artist delivers a slow burning, smooth new track entitled “Nonchalant” that includes both a melodic and R&B-infused bridge and also slowed, annunciated rap verses. 6LACK has created quite the name for himself over the past year and a half and he is continuing to build his legacy with records like this one. His lyrics provoke feelings of both pride and ignorance but also includes words of peace and relaxation. “Nonchalant” includes all the elements of 6LACK’s abilities as an artist. The Stwo and Lucianblomkamp-produced beat includes calming keys and and really relaxing and calming 808s. Even down to the engineering, the song is clearly constructed exactly how 6LACK visioned it in his head and it’s a real masterpiece. The visual includes vintage cuts and dope imagery of 6LACK in different beautiful settings across the world. To say the least, the visual is as much of a trip as the song itself.
