Klevah’s GLDN EP is a more vibrant, colorful and concise reimagining of the original Golden record, released on last year’s Black Friday. In celebration of the project’s one-year anniversary and the vast opportunities that it has drawn, Klevah was urged to continue this momentum and revisit her latest work with a new set of ears, eyes, convictions and imaginations, as well as maintaining some of her original ideas. The GLDN EP will consist of a few Golden remixes and new material combined with original content, all produced by Rokmore of TheGr8Thinkaz.
Similar to the original work, Klevah explores a multitude of topics ranging from her rise to greatness, to the power she holds as a woman in Hip-Hop, from her sensuality and spirituality, to her movements and life moments. One of the campaign’s key phrases is “It’s GLDNSZN. Stay Lit”, encouraging listeners to seek love, light and knowledge from others and from themselves. This theme is weaved throughout the entire EP, and is an integral part of Klevah’s personal and artistic make-up.
