I’ve long been a fan of Amir Obe. Like, before he was Amir Obe and went by Phreshy Duzit, around the days of his time spent as an Atlantic Records signee. My buddy was playin’ his tunes in the car randomly one day, and I was immediately drawn in by his knack for meshing with his production choices marvelously.
The chemistry he had with these producers like Rich Flyer (now Eli Sostre), NYLZ and more gave way to some awesome projects that got better and better. He’s always been ahead of his time sonically, and the same rings true with his just-released project entitled Happening In The Grey Area. It features PARTYNEXTDOOR as well as Sostre, and definitely one of the stronger projects we’ve heard this year. From front to back it plain ol’ bangs. Enjoy below!
