Here is new music from the legendary Phife Dawg from his forthcoming posthumous album, Give Thanks. The single/video for “Nutshell” is produced by the late J. Dilla, and is the first offering from the 5 Foot Assassin’s forthcoming project.
50% of the song’s proceeds will be donated to the National Kidney Foundation & the American Diabetes Association. Phife’s widow told Pitchfork:
“Phife loved his fans, and was so excited for them to hear his new music,” his widow said in a statement. “I feel like he would have wanted it this way.”
