Wisconsin is boomin’! The hip-hop scene there is fantastic, but the whole acoustic “singer songwriter” area is lacking in popularity. I’m proud to introduce you to Bear In The Forest, an acoustic artist straight from The Cheese State. The 18 year-old opened for Mic Kellogg in Milwaukee, and I remember feeling so impressed with how refined and pure his voice is. He spends a lot of time in Madison, so if you live in the area, I’d strongly suggest getting out to see him perform.
He recently dropped off a single called “Trapped In Apathy,” and this piece is filled with some really talented acoustic guitar playing, raspy yet smooth vocals, and nostalgia. Tons of nostalgia.
