Eso.Xo.Supreme – PDX’s

Sometimes when I don’t have much to do or I’m just bored I will log into Soundcloud and do what I call “Soundcloud Surfing,” its basically the exact same thing as Channel surfing, but you get the idea. Yesterday while I was waiting for my ride to pick me up from the airport I had some time to do some surfing and most times I don’t end up finding anything major, but to my surprise I found this kid by the name of Eso.Xo.Supreme who hails out of Portland.

I was very impressed by a few of his records and after doing some more research via social media, this kid is certainly on the right track. So, I decided to share his latest track with you titled “PDX’s.” On his latest single, the Portland native resists easy genre placement with sounds that blend the vibrations of a dark corner in an after-hours party with the emotion and lyrics of a tragic love ballad. His blurred, atmospheric vocals and style of story-telling are elusive, leaving the listener wanting more.
