Following the release of his Coloring Book mixtape a few back back, Chance the Rapper took time to stop by the University of Chicago to sit down with Bakari Kitwana for an Institute of Politics conversation, to speak on his current situation in music.
During the hour-long interview, Chance recalls a time when he was speaking with Sony Records about a deal that he almost closed, but eventually waited till Acid Rap to make that decision. that he was approached by various music labels and almost signed with Sony.
