X the Dolphin from my home state of Wisconsin dropped a super fucking amazing new track entitled “I won’t die in the Valley pt. 2.” I think that X’s music is on a whole other wave. He’s not rapping over a hip-hop beat, but more of a shoegaze type beat, and it works really nicely with his deep, rich vocals. His cadence and rhythm ALONE really tell a story. On top of ridiculously dope lyrics, you can’t go wrong with X the Dolphin. Check out his track below, and be prepared for an emotional journey.
