Self deprecation is key for comedy, and for music.

If you’re down on yourself, or just feeling sad or whatever, it’s very easy to relate to music that is sad and depressing. Nams Homeless does his own version of that in a really interesting way on Grey Flower Side A, his newest EP. Being from the Midwest, I know that a lot of Midwest music can get pretty in your feelings, and Nams really hits home. His music is druggy, which makes me feel like he’s coping with his problems with drugs, and that in itself is relatable. People cope differently.

Nams hits a lot of demographics in this project. He’ll connect well with people that are your average hip-hop head, but something tells me that even if you don’t like “rap music,” you’ll more than likely still like Nams. Without further adieu, here’s Nams Homeless’s Grey Flower Side A. Enjoy.
