Minnesota hip-hop buzz maker Dwynell Roland just dropped a dope new heater in this polar vortex holiday season entitled “GAWD DAMN.”
Being a resident of the Midwest myself, I can speak for a lot of people when I say that there is a nice array of styles of hip-hop in this region. Dwynell’s is more of a traditional style, with new school qualities mixed in with it. The track “GAWD DAMN” is a quality meshing of multiple styles of hip-hop, and you will understand what I’m talking about when you check out “GAWD DAMN” below.
