It’s finally here! After cementing his status as an internet legend with “Water,” all the lizard-catching videos and memes culminates today as Ugly God has officially unleashed his long-awaited project The Booty Tape. It’s a ten-track effort that shows off the vast hilarity in Ugly God’s music, though there are definitely points where he flexes his rapping ability and cleverness.
He’s without a doubt entertaining, and I look forward to seeing where he goes from here. Will he go even farther outside the lines, or will he reign it and try to make music that’s more focused and serious? I have no fuckin’ idea, but I’m definitely sticking around to find out. Enjoy.
