Chicago beatsmith Thelonious Martin just dropped off a new remix of the classic Mos Def track, “Beef.”
We all remember the hard hitting cut from Yasiin Bey’s Mos Definite album. Well, now Thelo is here with a fresh new take on the production for the iconic track. He’s already had a huge year, collaborating with Brooklyn MC Saga on the album Molotov, and paying homage to the great J. Dilla with his tape A Dozen for Dilla. With skills like these, it’s not hard to see why Martin is easily one of the most intriguing producers in Chicago, if not the country.
