Check out this strip-backed piano version of “Amerikkkan Idol” from Joey Bada$$ and UK newcomer Dave from BBC’s Radio 1. Considering the chorus of the track is inspired by HOV’s “Dead Presidents,” it’s only right that there be a version of the All Amerikkkan Bada$$ single with the original instrumental. Who knew Dave was such a virtuoso on the keys either? This is just a dope example of how two great musicians can come together to make something beautiful. The pair also did an acoustic version of the track “Babylon,” as well. While we’re missing Chronixx’ rasta vocals, this thing is still so smooth and silky.
