Texas artists Lil Kickdoe and Mookie Lee come together for a trippy new visual for “Day & Night” premiering with us here at Chiefers. The Burger Beats produced instrumental features dope synth riffs sounding faintly like they were sampled from Kid Cudi’s legendary “Day & Night. The new video release is not off of any particular project, just a single, but a project from Lil Kickdoe is coming soon.
The DJ Idol of Reel Bump directed video has an eclectic intro, showcasing stellar coloring and editing work from the director, leading into the track which shows the two Texas artists going up in a variety of locations. The track is melodic and harmonic. Both artists trade musical verses regarding whipping and serving work. The two have great chemistry on the track, doing adlibs for one another, and layering each other’s vocals.
