North Jersey-born, NYC-based sensation Riz La Vie feeds fans today and premiers his new track with us, titled “Comedown,” produced in tandem with his executive producer Daniel Hartzog. Where to start with up-and-coming star Rooftop Riz? This demo — apparently an unfinished track from sessions during the process of the creation of his EP FOUND from earlier this year — strikes me as a dark, brief glimpse into a feeling of paranoia that develops when surrounded by people who are just tryna get something from you. We all experience people trying to force their way into your circle, and Riz captures this with a sense of realism and sauce. Blowing up all over, pushing over 1.5 million plays and 60k monthly listeners on Spotify itself, this won’t be the last time you hear or see the name Riz La Vie. Mark my words on that.
