After what seems to have been years of delays, Houston rapper Maxo Kream finally announces the release date along with the cover art for his debut album Punken. Maxo has been on the brink of breaking that glass ceiling into mainstream hip-hop for quite some time now, but we truly believe that wait is coming to an end soon. Maxo is known for being a master craftsmen when it comes to putting together a project, and in all honesty, it tends to almost always work out in his favor.
His first two mixtape’s “Maxo 187” and “The Persona Tape” were wondrous works, entailing above par wordplay in every song with real life stories tied to ever bar. One can easily assume that this could be the best works from the Houston forerunner that we’ve yet to see. The release date of this project is set to be delivered on January 12th, 2018, and will feature the likes of Trippie Redd, 03 Greedo and much more. Stay tuned for more details.
