In the past, Delray Beach has been a habitually underrated South Florida rap enclave that offered up some of our favorite Florida rappers. This week the temporarily unknown G Black continues that trend and comes out of nowhere with the Infamous JC directed video for “Diamond In The Dirt.” Serving as the second single from his sophomore mixtape that shares the same name, “Diamond In The Dirt” is an infectious flex anthem that showcases a varied delivery from the previously released “The Real Me,” instead tapping into his deeper, more rapid fire tenor tone heard on the Black On Black mixtape tracks “Certified” and “Living.” If this standout track is any indication, the 50k Records and Black Cinema Music Group representative is just getting started.
