Global superstar The Weeknd follows up his highly anticipated My Dear Melancholy project release with two crazy videos from the EP. “Try Me” is shot from the viewpoint of a front-facing camera, with The Weeknd singing into the cam, with two girls having sex behind him. The visual for “Call Out My Name” is set in a vast and eerie space, with a damsel in distress waking out of spell by The Weeknd’s face on a stack of TV screens, serenading the young woman. The Weeknd’s art direction is so on brand release after release. He’s the only full-blown pop star who’s managed to maintain such a distinct level of mystique.
