So Lupe Fiasco calls into Sway In The Morning to air out some anger that he still holds towards Pete Rock. After breaking it down to Sway, it turns out that Pete Rock has known about Lupe’s new record “Around My Way” since November and that the only reason the beat was remade is because the sample can never be cleared again. So with the fact that after Pete Rock gave Lupe his blessings on remaking the track back in November, Pete Rock went to Twitter the day the song dropped and completely shits on Lupe. I think what happened here is Pete Rock has gone mental just like Canibus when he dropped that video apologizing to J. Cole. Haha.
