One of our favorites over here at DailyChiefers is the Louisiana native Lamont, who finally released his long awaited tape entitled Love Lamont. For the past few months, he kept his fans on their toes through releasing a promotional single for the tape in “Red Dots” and even dropped a surprise EP to keep his fans engaged and excited for the drop of this tape. I’m not gonna lie, I was really hyped about this tape after listening. A lot of fire shit has been dropping recently, but this might be the tape I have thrown on repeat for the next few days. Standout songs like “Stars” and “Fast Food” show Lamonts ability to rap a bit slower and get more lyrical and also showcase his ability to even get melodic over a string-infused beat. What’s even more impressive is that he doesn’t seek out any features to help boost his repertoire, he truly believes in his art, and I believe more and more fans will too after hearing Love Lamont.
