Kenny B and Asian Doll link up for a banger record in “Pop Out”, where they’re smoking big gas in the studio going hard as fuck. The Jetlag’d-directed video displays the two artists recording this song in the studio, which is why I find the video to be so dope. We rarely see videos these days that are simply the artists actually recording the song as the video itself. Kenny B takes the first half of the song with a hook that goes hard as fuck and a verse where his flows switch from slow and consistent to effortlessly dropping off crazy bars. He’s got a mad unique voice and flow as well, which contrasts really well with Asian Doll’s sound on the second half of the record. She taps in on the second verse with an interesting spice to the track and proves that she can be one of the hottest upcoming artists of the latter half of 2018.
