She’s from Jakarta, she’s got a thing for street wear and cyber punk 90s, and she makes really accessible rap from a part of the country where there aren’t really any female MCs. Ramengvrl had a one-off feature in VICE a while ago, and she’s back with new material. She released a track called “CA$HMERE” on 7/13 about her struggle breaking into the luxury-rap world from an outsider’s standpoint. She also released a video entirely shot in Japan, and has another single geared up for September release – so needless to say she’s got some really interesting stuff going on right now.
