A2 has been the talk of the underground in London for years. Over the last year or so he’s been seamlessly making his way into the mainstream of that scene. A2’s an artist that clearly takes time making his music and understands how to piece himself and his music into the pop culture conversation. He’s a classic case of being your favorite artist’s favorite artist. The new EP, Purple, is a five track full body of work. The vibes are airy and drugged out, but collected at the same time. A2 continues to showcase his developing musicality and well versed songwriting.
