GoldLink is undoubtably one of the most creative artists to make his stain in the game as of late, and he is showing us why that’s true yet again in this recent short film for his track “Got Friends”, featuring Miguel. The Christian Sutton-directed outing gives off some serious “Thriller” vibes as it seems to take a trip back a few decades. Miguel is the main protagonist of the feature as he and his homies sit across from some beautiful women in a Waffle House-style diner. As casual chit chat and flirting develops, the ladies eventually make their exit that will lead to their demise. It turns out that Miguel and his friends may not actually be themselves at all, but rather are a horde of floating vampires. It’s really a weird but satisfying visual that lets GoldLink and Miguel’s track serve as the intermittent soundtrack to the plot. Check it out for yourself above.
