Brent Faiyaz has been putting out stellar work for a while now and his new EP, Lost, is no exception. The rich variety of styles that Faiyaz provides are a much needed refreshing take on modern R&B. His subject matter is honest and pulls at the strings of the heart, while his strong voice adds a lush channel to the airwaves. The instrumentation is crazy throughout these 6-tracks and the energy is translated through heavy kicks and memorable chords. “Target On My Chest” is a personal favorite with Brent spilling his gospel next to wondrous guitar riffs from Loshendrix. This is another favorite project of 2018, don’t miss out world.
