Notty Taylor is a talent that always finds a way to breathe new life into every track he delivers. The Knoxville native can effortlessly weave his way from a heavy hitting up tempo rap track, to the smoothest of RnB, and then hit a quick turn to something of a more pop tune. If that wasn’t already obvious, take a listen to his latest EP Thursday 1.0.
Comprised of six tracks that were released in a weekly fashion as a part of Taylor’s Thank Me Thursdays, the project comes in at a perfect length and a flawless blend of sonics. From the jump on “All Day Long”, Notty hits a cruisin’ Burnie Amsterdam-produced track that is a cut for the long time fans, as this is a classic vibe from the young star. Amsterdam snags credit for production on three of the six tracks on this project, with additional assistance coming from t.ANT, Samsung Sosa, and B Young. There are a couple of hot tracks featuring fellow Knoxville native, Erybody Jones, and Jefe HTMG collides with Notty on the undeniable hit that is “Sticc To Tha Script”.
