Coming off of work with Don Cannon, J Slim‘s new visuals for “Kanye’s Intro” brings his storytelling to life. Reminiscing on his teenage years, he reflects on how fast he had to grow up in his environment and gives us something that can almost be described as a concise audio autobiography that touches on the violence that surrounded him, college, indictments, and death. As you can see from this video, painting vivid pictures is something we’ve noticed J Slim can do effortlessly with his flow. Clearly talented, he is not afraid to share his story with the world through his lens and that is exactly what he is going to do on his debut album, MVP, which is slated to release in 2019.
