Los Angeles street music is back to the forefront. While the city has been consistently carried in the mainstream by heavyweights like Kendrick Lamar, YG and others, we’ve start to see a shift, with more of the younger generation stepping into the spotlight. One of those guys is Inglewood rapper, Rucci, who drops off his highly anticipated project, For My Dawgz.

At 14 tracks, the project would most definitely considered long by today’s microwave standards, but despite that, it never feels bloated. Boasting features from fellow rising stars like AD1TakeJay, AzCult and more, For My Dawgz is an energetic, exciting tribute piece to the city that raised Rucci, Inglewood, as well as the people who helped him ascend. With party anthems such as, “Twin Towers,” sure to take off, be on the lookout for Rucci to have an even bigger year in 2019. Listen to the project below.
