This is another instance in which I just happened to scroll the timeline and catch a swift RT of gold. So of course me being the curious S.O.B. that i am, I hit that link. From the tempo, to the layering of the moving chords behind the vocals, this is one of those ones. LOVEMEFRVR is from Cleveland, but this is the first time I’ve came across his music.
His cut “Mamacita” is meant for you to really move around to, and it’s off his most recent album Ballads Of The Soul. The energy that’s exerted from the speakers pulsates up and down the spine. Yes, FRVR does use an ample amount of auto-tune, but he doesn’t stray away from the right wave. His verses and chorus make for a real hit. It’s not a normal middle of the pack song, then to add Omari Night and his sultry vocals to the last verse, is the perfect cap to this cut. Pay attention, my ear doesn’t lie and we found something nuts, peep the gas below.
