Pink Siifu and YUNGMORPHEUS are modern day sonneteers and they combine their already stellar talents with Koncept Jack$on for “Black Ice”. Even though Siifu doesn’t spit on this one, his track record already speaks for itself. Jack$on starts things off with a meticulous cadence that you can’t fret away from, especially with this instrumentation from iiye. Then MORPHEUS delivers his formidable flows to follow up in a beautifully braggadocios manner.
Apparently this was shot by Mavi, another ridiculously great wordsmith, who also makes a cameo in these frames. The black and white is quite fitting and still delivers vivid scenes to paint this portrait. It’s great to see these artists who are more focused on raps and or spoken word, instead of melodic approaches. These guys provide a balance to the world and deserve more credit for their distinctive art. We love what we’ve seen, so do yourself a favor and stream this one below.
