When I hear the words “Detroit hip-hop,” a few names start to pop in my head, including Sada Baby, Tee Grizzly, 42 Dugg (just to name a few), highlighting the crazed hip-hop scene that seems to be churning out superstars left and right. Enter Brooks.
The grimy single, produced by Topside, is flooded with outrageous bars and a perfect balance of witty lyricism and a hard-hitting single. This is the first time I’ve heard of the Detroit native, but it won’t be our last. Tap in with Brooks, and we’ll keep you posted on future releases.
